Internet Marketing Training Alabama Right Here In Anniston

Well, I did it again. A client with one of my websites stopped by and we spent about three hours having the best time talking about every aspect of Internet Marketing.  I apologized for talking his ears off, but he would have none of it. He said he had a marvelous time learning all about everything from  building web pages to Internet ad positioning. Funny thing, I believe he did.

So, this is as good of an introduction to the newest offering of OceanView Graphics and Design, the local company here in Oxford, Alabama who owns and operates GetCalhoun.com...

I am in the process of launching something fairly unique, and that's one on one Internet Marketing Training.
What's it good for and why is it unique?

It's good for you if you want to get into that work from home stuff on the Internet. It's also good for intermediates who want to learn more about some aspect of Internet Marketing without having to re-invent the wheel.

As it turns out, I know quite a bit about building websites and using them to make money on the Internet. I also love to teach and explain things, so, putting my two avocations together I am now offering my services to as a mentor to help others learn what it's all about.

What makes my service unique is that even though there are literally millions of written pages on the subject of Internet Marketing, there are very few people who are willing to sit down with you and explain it.

So why hire a teacher when you can do it for yourself? The answer is that there is NO reason to get help, if you have the time and inclination to start from scratch and teach yourself all that you have to know if you want any chance for success.

If you don't want to take out a couple of years to learn the basics that you can get from me in an afternoon, then by all means...

And there is the problem with what you quickly learn to be information overload. There is so much available on the subject that you can STUDY to the point that you never actually DO.

I boil it all down for you, give you the free tools to get started and with those that information, you have the tools to get even more tools. From the start. Right away.

I liken it to putting a roof on a house. If you get that first course started wrong, by the time you get half way to the top, you're going to have a mess on your hands.

The best way is to get started out right, and that's where your's truly comes in. I know the dead ends and I know what works, or at least has a chance to work.

Be advised that I don't claim to know it all, or even to be the most successful Internet Marketer, but I do know how to do it right and stay out of trouble.

Hello GetCalhoun.com fans!

I must confess that for the last year and a half or so I have been on a walkabout, touring the uncharted affiliate marketing ways.

GetCalhoun.com did not languish during my journey, because it was improved. However, my eye was turned to new lands.

The good news is that I am back now...and with my Masters in Webology. Frankly, I wasn't so bad with getting my pages to the top before I went rambling, but as I come back to GC full time now, I come back with renewed energy and plans abounding. Things undreamt of before will be standard here now.

When I started my work, it was global. Then, going local, honestly, seemed a little confining. Isn't it sometimes that way in real life, outside the walls of cyberspace? So, I got my cyber traveling out of the way and I'm more glad to be back here than I ever was before. There is something to be said for home, hearth, and my beloved GetCalhoun.com.

What I bring back from my journey is an absolute wealth of global internet marketing experience, competing with the big dogs, as I did, for world business.

The good news for local consumers is that I happen to know that what works globally is magnified incredibly locally. It's like when we were kids fooling around with a magnifying glass out in the yard. Working globally, the sun shines thorough the glass casting a bright light, as you well know. But, using that same strategy locally is like focusing that energy into a dazzlingly bright speck of light that will absolutely burn the competition.

I am working on a new concept I call "Rent-A-Page." Previously, I built local pages on demand. Now, there will be a huge selection of pre-built pages aimed at the service industry, for a start.

The pre builts which are gloriously search engine optimized will sit here in GetCalhoun.com gaining momentum in the search engines, ready for new tenants to move in. Thus, if you are a home builder, carpet cleaner, window washer, or approximately 55 other professions, your page will be waiting for you, and already producing results.

What GetCalhoun.com has always done was cutting edge, but this is far beyond that.

What I learned in my master's course was something that I always knew, but didn't know enough about to accomplish, and that was to leverage the inherent power of GetCalhoun.com to it's fullest.

I bring back a whole new sack of talents and a new energy to energize business in and around Calhoun County Alabama.

Times are tough for us all, and I'm not sitting idly by. I'm doing something about it. I'm going to whip this awful depression.I hope you will join with me.

When any burgeoning web mogul first begins to mogulize, one of the first projects inevitably MUST be a diet food project. 

Yes, it's lucrative and one of the most popular, if not THE most popular enterprises on the net. However, everybody and their aunties are into it, so it's also one of the hardest to do successfully.

So, why even attempt it? The answer is simple...ego. It's an ego thing. Only the bravest, most ingenious, and daring webmasters ever get within sniffing distance of success. 

It is a fact, and I say this most umbly, that should you visit Bing or Yahoo and search for "diet food delivered," which just happens to be my chosen diet niche, you'll find my GetCalhoun.com diet pages on page 2.

If you further add a state, say, Georgia, as in diet food delivered georgia, " you'll find me on page one, listing one. Now, by dollop, that's not too shabby! That means I'm whipping the snot out of nearly 5 million other websites advertising their shabby diet food delivery mess.

It just so happens that GetCalhoun.com gets a slew of hits for diet food delivered. But not so many conversions. So, I have just revamped the pages. Now I offer not only three diet food delivered options, but also now, the top three hurry up and lose weight diet courses as well.

Just think of what you could accomplish if you not only have your diet food delivered, but also then follow along with one of these miracle weight loss programs too.

I hesitate to mention this, but you know you're going to murderize all that turkey and dressing multiple times between now and the first of next year. If you're tummy offends you afterward, you'll need to go ahead and head over to my diet pages.

Several years ago GetCalhoun.com started making local election results available by what's known as an "inline frame" wherein we here are able to incorporate the local election database provided by the Calhoun County Sheriff Department's website.

What I saw from my end last night was typical of what I have seen before, with a kicker. The page offered was a representation of the results from the last race until 8:58pm when it was finally updated with the stats from the Nov 2 race.

The kicker was that the Sheriff Department's website got bogged down, presumably from all the people trying to login to it and stayed locked up for a good part of the evening up until the results were finally updated.

In the meantime, I suppose, because GetCalhoun.com was logged in to their system from the getgo, viewers could see their website from the GetCalhoun.com window. However, all they saw was election results from months ago.

What I'm saying here is that while I don't have a clue as to the problems of whoever was in charge of updating the voting database, it's clear that something needs to be done because their performance was very bad. Obviously some results were available early in the evening. Their database SHOULD have been updated publicly throughout the evening instead of only at 9PM. And if this wasn't possible, at least they should have put something online to let us know they were working on the problem instead of leaving the results from July on all night.

At the least, there is an air of incompetence and a lack of understanding of the needs of the public.

I say again, I don't know who was typing in the results or what their problems were, but they could have gone a long way in mitigating the unprofessional appearance of their presentation by simply putting up a page saying that the results would be presented soon. Something like that.

I know there was confusion last night, and a meltdown of their server by people looking for answers that weren't forthcoming. It would have been so simple to avoid this. It's called "web presence." They need more of that.

If someone from the Election Board or Sheriff's office has a comment on my comment, we'd love to hear it. Guaranteed to be posted here.
