Halloween Costumes. I amazed myself this time. Nay, stunned myself. HalloweenHome.net is in full bloom in the middle of the summer and has already made its first sale.

There are certain processes one must follow to get a website highly ranked. HalloweenHome.net seems to have skipped several of them to land at the top of the mountain.

From the day it went live, Google indexed all of the pages and gave most of them either near the top or top placement for the search terms I was going for. It's a stunning, and if I may say so, beautiful thing.

Of course, it took me a month to write the HalloweenHome.net website. I had a lot of fun doing it, but it was a passel of work, believe me.

As I am awfully fond of saying, "What I do for myself, I can do for you." Thus, if your business, near, or far, needs an actual working website, I have even more proof that I can make one for you that works.

I hope you'll stop by HalloweenHome.net when you have time and interest. It's a dandy! Even my "ABOUT" page is a winner. Nobody reads that page, you know, but my wife did and nearly flogged me when I made the case that Halloween candy should be shared. If you are curious, you're just going to have to go take a look and see if you agree.Norm

Would you be interested in participating in a local study course on the founding of America, with particular importance on the Constitution?

I am in the process getting ready to offer a local study group type course on this very subject.

How am I getting ready, you might ask? I am studying.

I may be the only one to attend, but I'm betting there are enough people in the Anniston/Oxford area, or close enough to travel, to attend a weekly class on the founding of America with close attention to the founding principles. If you are one of them, I think you probably know it in your heart and mind and would be eager to participate.

I envision the class being held somewhere in Oxford or Anniston, Alabama one night a week, probably on a Tuesday or Thursday evening, place, date, and time, still in the future.

There will be a charge. The course is not free.

There are two books involved:

1. The 5000 Year Leap
2. The Making of America: The Substance and Meaning of the Constitution

With ten or more students, I can get a discount on the books. The course is NOT a money maker for myself. The course fee will only be sufficient to cover the book charges and any study materials needed. I expect the fee will be somewhere around $40. The length of the course will run several meetings.

I would invite you to go take a look at the books on Amazon and see if this might be your cup of tea.

Personally, I feel that this is a very important time in the history of our nation to study and understand how we got to be.

Please let me know if you would be interested in attending such a class, would be interested promoting this class to your friends, and how many you can bring.

If you also possibly have a place to meet, say a church, or a public building, let me know that too. This is a 100% grass roots effort.

Contact me (Norman Morrison) at getcalhoun@getcalhoun.com. I would be pleased to answer your questions. Phone 256-405-9713

Naturally, this is for serious students only. The course is for folks who already believe the Constitution has been and is the right way for our nation to proceed. It's for folks who want a deeper understanding of the founding history, and the framing of our Constitution.

I think we will have a SPLENDID time!
Halloween Home Invitation: Short blog post here. While most were busy with Independence Day doings, I was totally submersed in the Halloween spirit. Still am, as a matter of fact.

It turns out that HalloweenHome.net is my most professional website to date. It contains several features that I have used in the past, and some that I have not.

HalloweenHome.net is still being developed. It will have 600+ pages. Pretty extensive!

In the meantime, I'd love to give you a sneak peek, if you are interested. Click the link below to visit my Halloween diggings...
